Hong Kong Maritime Week 2021

Hong Kong Maritime Week, 1 to 6 November 2021, was a particularly busy time for the Hong Kong Maritime Arbitration Group (HKMAG). Many of our members participated in numerous events, showcasing the importance and strength of maritime dispute resolution in Hong Kong.  Of particular note were the signing of the MOU on 1 November on cooperation and the promotion of the use of maritime arbitration in the Greater Bay Area (see the separate announcement for more detail) and the extremely successful Discussion with HKMAG Full Members that took place on 5 November. 

Hong Kong’s unique strengths are not only in having the only bilingual common law system in the world but also in the range of expertise and experience of its local maritime arbitrators, mediators, experts and maritime law firms.
