Annual General Meeting 2020 and Committee meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Hong Kong Maritime Arbitration Group was held on 4 May 2020.  The meeting had been postponed from its original date in February due to the Covid-19 virus.  The meeting reviewed the Report of the President for the year 2019 and approved the accounts for 2019 and the budget for 2020.  Some minor changes to the By-laws, made to satisfy requirements of the Societies Officer and Inland Revenue, were agreed.  The meeting agreed that since they had been in position for only a short time, the present Committee members should remain in place until the AGM to be held in February 2021.

At the Committee meeting held immediately after the AGM, Mok Sai Kit (Danny) was elected Vice President and Chris Howse was elected Secretary.  Furthermore, it was agreed that a Sub-committee for China Promotion would be created, with Danny Mok kindly agreeing to be Chairman.
